Amy D'Annunzio is Franchise Owner of Buck's Dog Training of Collegeville. Amy has always had dogs growing up and has always had a big heart for animals. Throughout her many years of experience, passion and dedication, she found her passion for wanting to work with animals during her high school year's where she had her first job working for a grooming, boarding and daycare facility right in Collegeville for 8 years. During this time she fell in love with the idea of working and training animals and she had the opportunity to train her first service dog, Shayna. She was a big, goofy, gentle giant, Great Dane puppy. Knowing that she could change lives through this and bring joy and comfort to people through animals, became her goal.
Amy has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, holds certifications in Animal Psychology, Animal care and Animal training, and is CPR certified. She has had the pleasure to foster many dogs, worked as a kennel assistant at a local Vet clinic, and cared for many different animals over the years. In Amy's spare time she enjoys spending time with her family along with her 3 dogs (Yoda, Rey and Meika), she enjoys the beach, traveling, horses, pin-pong, and relaxing when she can.
Amy says: "One the best things, is knowing that you can make a difference in someone's life by helping them learn how to communicate better with their dog. I thoroughly enjoy this and being able to help many people build a life long bond with their dog brings me endless happiness".
Tip: Structure, Routine, Repetition and Patience are the key factors to having an amazing and happy companion. If you are willing to put in time and effort for your dog who offers endless love, there's no way you could ever be disappointed.
